Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
